DEFLECTION
Note:- For Philippines model, all 50 Hz adjustment is made in AV mode.
A . DEFLECTION ADJUSTMENT / CONFIRMATION (50 Hz, 4:3 Mode ONLY)

a. Helmhortz device
2. PREPARATION
a. Set the Helmhortz device to local magnetic field.
b. Picture menu : DYNAMIC Normal
b. Picture menu : DYNAMIC Normal
3. CONFIRMATION AND ADJUSTMENT
a. Adjustment of 50 Hz V-CENTER
a. Receive the monoscope pattern (E11).
b. Adjust V-POS so that centre of monoscope pattern is at CRT centre.
b. Adjust V-POS so that centre of monoscope pattern is at CRT centre.
b. Adjustment of 50 Hz V-AMP
a. Receive the monoscope pattern (E11).

C, D (Fig. 3) is 2.0 ± 0.1

b. Adjust H-POS so that horizontal position is at centre of CRT.

4. ADJUSTMENT OF 50 Hz H-AMP
a. Receive the monoscope pattern (E11).
b. Adjust H-AMP so that both edges are within 2.5 ± 0.2. Refer to Fig. 1.

a. Receive crosshatch pattern (E4).

a. Adjust the vertical line no. 2 to straight line (parabola) by EW-AMP 1. (Refer to Fig. 1c)

(16:9 MODE) ADJUSTMENT / CONFIRMATION
1. V-ZOOM (16:9) ADJUSTMENT
(Service 3)
*a. Receive PAL monoscope pattern E11. (If no burst signal : Set to force PAL)
b. Set the aspect to 16:9.
c. Confirm that A, B in Fig. 1 is 4.0 cm ± 1.5, if not, adjust V-ZOOM.
d. Receive NTSC monoscope patern US13. (If no burst signal : Set to force NTSC)
c. Confirm that A, B in Fig. 1 is *a, if not, adjust V- ZOOM.
*a. Receive PAL monoscope pattern E11. (If no burst signal : Set to force PAL)
b. Set the aspect to 16:9.
c. Confirm that A, B in Fig. 1 is 4.0 cm ± 1.5, if not, adjust V-ZOOM.
d. Receive NTSC monoscope patern US13. (If no burst signal : Set to force NTSC)
c. Confirm that A, B in Fig. 1 is *a, if not, adjust V- ZOOM.
