MAJOR OPERATING CONTROLS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS
Mono Inputs 1 to 6
q
Level Switches [INPUT MIC/LINE]
Toggles between MIC and LINE in accordance with
input signal level. Set this switch to MIC when connect-
ing to a microphone, and set this switch to LINE when
connecting to other devices.
Caution:
Turn the trim adjuster w counterclockwise to the end
when toggling the level switch. Sudden increase in the
sound volume may cause damage to speakers.
w
Trim Adjusters [INPUT 0 to 10]
Changes the input sensitivity stepwise.
MIC selected:
–20 dB to –60 dB
LINE selected:
+10 dB to –30 dB
Adjust the sensitivity so that optimal volume is gained
when the input fader i stands at 8.
e
Equalizer Knobs [HIGH, LOW]
2-stage (HIGH and LOW) equalizer
HIGH:
Adjusts the quality of high tone.
Mainly clarity of human voice (audibility) can be
adjusted by the peaking type of 4 kHz ±6 dB. The
more clockwise the knob is turned, the clearer the
sound becomes.
LOW:
Adjusts the quality of low tone. Shelving type 100
Hz ±15 dB
r
Assign Switches [MAIN 1, MAIN 2, SUB 1, SUB 2]
Selects a bus line from among 4 channels for signal
transmission. Press one of the switches to select a bus
line and the integral green light  comes on. Press the
switch again to stop transmission and the light comes
off. The combination of switch setting is called "pattern",
and up to 8 patterns can be registered.
t
Sending Switches [SEND]
Toggles transmission to an external device such as an
echo machine on and off. Press this switch to echo an
microphone. (The unit has no echo function.)
