Information regarding Lead-Free (PbF) solder;
Distinction of PbF PCB:
PCBs (manufactured) using lead free solder will have a mark following
the PCB part numbers in a label on the PCB.
the PCB part numbers in a label on the PCB.
Caution:
Pb free solder has a higher melting point than standard solder; typically the melting
point is 86 - 104 F (30 - 40 C) higher. Please use a soldering iron with temperature
control and adjust it to 698 20 F (370 10 C). Exercise care while using higher
temperature soldering irons, do not heat the PCB for too long to prevent solder splash
or damage to the PCB.
