This connects to the expansion bus

connector on the bottom of the com-

puter.

Be sure to keep it covered with the

supplied protective cap when the port

replicator is not connected to the 

computer.

The protective cap from the expansion bus con-

nector should be placed here when the por t

replicator is connected to the computer.

(This will prevent it from getting lost.)

Slide the lever all the way back to release the

computer.

Check whether the

connectors are point-

ing up or down.

Be careful when disassembling and servicing since some chassis may have sharp edges.

Note: Before disassembling, be sure to do the following procedures first.

1. Power off the computer and disconnect it.
2. Unplug the AC adaptor from DC-IN Jack.
3. Disconnect all peripheral devices.

Caution: Please follow directions carefully.

Do not interchange screws in any part of the system.

Reassemble in the reverse order.

1. Remove the two screws <A>.
2. Remove the bottom flame.
3. Remove the four screws <B> and two screws <C>.
4. Remove the bottom cover.
5. Remove the two screws <D> and two screws <E>.
6. Remove the Ejector.
7. Remove the fire screws <F>, screw <G> and two

screws <H>.

8. Remove the Main PCB with I/O plate and isolation

sheet.
