1.3.2.4.
2W-4W Conversion
It converts 4W-VOX signal used in the PBX to 2W-VOX signal used in SLT, and vice versa. It consists of an operational amplifier in
the SLIC and a balanced network (B/N) in the CODEC. It can control the return loss of the audio data and frequency characteristics.
By modifying the CODEC program, it can match the corresponding impedance. 
1.3.2.5.
DTMF Signal Detection
Each port has its own DTMF receiver in the codec. 
Detection of DTMF signal by Codec transmits this data to the MPR via the PLD.
Via the PLD, MPR reads the DTMF signal which is received in the Codec.
1.3.2.6.
Power Supply
Voltage and current generated by the SLIC is supplied to the phones.
Preset voltage is -26V (On-hook).
Current is set as 26mA (Off-hook).

1.3.2.7.
Hook Detection
The SLIC/CODEC(IC300A-W) provides a programmable off-hook detection mechanism. 
The off-hook detection scheme provides two unique thresholds to allow hysteresis, and also includes a programmable debounce fil-
ter to eliminate false detection.  
1.3.2.8.
Ring Trip Feature
During ringing, the ring current is permanently sensed by the SLIC/CODEC(IC300A-W). 
When the handset of a ringing telephone is picked up, the current is compared against the programmed ring trip threshold. 
If it is above the programmed ring trip threshold, the ringing signal automatically stop and move to the off-hook status.

Surge Protection
Thyristor is installed between T or R and FG protect from extraneous surge.

1.3.2.10. Power Failure Switch Feature
4 out of 24 lines have switching relays (RL200A-D) installed in order to enable the outside call during a power failure. The line con-
nected to the outside call card will be directly connected to the CN201 located in forward part of the board via a 4-conductor TEL
cord. In the normal operation mode, it breaks the power failure switching relay, and during a power failure, it makes the power fail-
ure switching relay to initiate Power failure direct connection mode.
1.3.2.11. Bell Signal Generator and transmission
In  ringing mode, the ringing DC offset and the ringing signal are summed within SLIC/CODEC(IC300A-W) in accordance with the
programmed values.
The SLIC/CODEC(IC300A-W) supplies the line with 65 Vrms.
The bell signal is generated with VBAT supplied to the SLIC/CODEC(IC300A-W).

1.3.2.12. EXT-CID Transmission
The SLIC/CODEC (IC300A-W) generates the extension Caller ID signals (FSK signal) with the CPU control.
The data flow is shown below.
1.3.2.13. Power Supply Voltage Generator
• Block Diagram
The input from the main power supply is in 2 voltage levels: +15V, +40V.
Since the voltage levels: +15V, +3.3V, VBATa - VBATx are required onboard, voltage levels are generated onboard as written below.
