• Protection of 3.3V output
The protection circuit consists of an output short protection and an overvoltage protection.
When an output of power supply is short, IC1 works to stop the output as the output short protection.
When +3.3V output become overvoltage caused by Q5 short, it is detected by D7. Q3 is cut by Q2 to shut down the input power
supply as the overvoltage protection.

• VBAT Converter
The SLIC/CODEC(IC300A-W) features an PWM controller to control the external DC/DC converter components to generate the
required negative battery voltage (VBAT).
The battery voltage generation circuit tracks the VBAT voltage to the optimal value under each operating state (e.g. on-hook, off-
hook, ringing, etc.) .
Additionally, in the ringing state, the VBAT voltage closely tracks the most negative crest of the TIP and RING ringing waveforms
(trough tracking) in order to further optimize power consumption and dissipation.
