Power On/Off Switch (POWER ON/OFF)
This switch is used to turn the camera drive unit and con-
nected camera on and off.  The indicator lights up when
the camera drive unit is switched on.
When turns this switch off, the power supply does not
interrupt. In such a case, disconnect the AC cord or turn
the circuit breaker off.
w
Camera Input Connector (CAMERA IN)
This connector receives colour or B/W composite video
signal from the camera. It also supplies DC power and
vertical drive pulses for synchronizing signals to the cam-
era and receive video and audio signals from the cam-
era.
e
Video Output Connector (VIDEO OUT)
Video signals from the camera is output from this con-
nector for input to outboard devices.
r
Audio Output Connector (AUDIO OUT)
Audio signal from the camera is output from this connec-
tor for input to the outboard devices (if an applicable
camera is connected).
t
VD/SYNC Input Connector (VD/SYNC IN)
The VD (Vertical Drive) pulse or VS (Video Sync) signal
is supplied to this connector for synchronizing the sys-
tem.
y
VD/SYNC Output Connector (VD/SYNC OUT)
The VD (Vertical Drive) pulse or VS (Video Sync) signal
is output from this connector for synchronizing other sys-
tem components.

Preset the output level on the FM Standard Signal Generator
to 110dBm.
Observe the waveform of CAMERA IN on WV-PS154 or
WV-PS15 at the Oscilloscope by using the Three Way
Connector.
Adjust the output level on the FM Standard Signal Generator
so that FM Carrier Level of the Video Signal becomes 80mV
as shown in Fig. 3-4.
Note this output level on the FM Standard Signal Generater
as
A
dBm.

Turn OFF the Power On/Off switch.
Turn the VR100 (for 1-ch) to fully counterclockwise posi-
tion.
Turn on the Power On/Off switch, set the FM Standard
Signal Generator so that the output level becomes
A
dBm.
Connect the Digital voltmeter to TP100 (for 1-ch) .
Adjust L100 (for 1-ch) so that the DC Voltage on the
Digital Voltmeter becomes 4.3
±
0.1V.
Note : Make sure the unit has sufficiently cooled off
before turning ON the power.
Also, adjust the unit within one minute after turn-
ing ON the power.
Confirm that the DC Voltage is 4.5
±
0.1V at 30 minutes
after turned ON the Power On/Off switch.
For WV-PS154, the same as above, adjust L300 (2-ch) ,
L500 (3-ch) and L700 (4-ch) so that the DC Voltage
becomes 4.3
±
0.1V in similar way of L100 (1-ch).

While observing the Audio Output Level, rotate VR101
(for 1-ch) in the counterclockwise direction and adjust
until the Audio Output Level drops a 1dBV range from the
point where it starts to drop.
Change the output level to (
A
-24) dBm from (
A
-21)
dBm.
Confirm that the Audio Output Level is less than
16dBV.
For WV-PS154, the same as above, adjust VR301 (2-ch) ,
VR501 (3-ch) and VR701 (4-ch) in similar way of VR101 (1-
ch) .
3. Vertical Frequency Adjustment
Test Point : TP106 (V.FREQ)

Note : This adjustment should be done at 10 minutes after
turned ON the Power On/Off Switch.
Connect the Frequency Counter to TP106.
(Ground terminal is TP101 on the Main Board.)
Adjust CT1 so that the Vertical Frequency becomes
204800.000
±
1.024Hz.
