Some chassis components may have sharp edges. Be careful when disassembling and servicing.

 1. This section describes procedures for checking the operation of the major printed circuit boards and replacing the main

components.

 2. For reassembly after operation checks or replacement, reverse the respective procedures.

Special reassembly procedures are described only when required.

 3. Select items from the following index when checks or replacement are required.
 4. Refer to the Parts No. on the page of “Parts Location and Replacement Parts List” (Section 5), if necessary.

Step 1: Peel off the screw covers by using the pen knife.

Note: Place it in original location during assembling.

Step 2: Remove 4 screws.

Step 3: Insert the flathead screwdriver into the grooves of the
side panel unit.
Step 4: Lift up the side panel unit slightly.

Step 5: Insert two flathead screwdrives at the sides of the boss
and apply force to gently push out the side panel unit as picture
shown.
Step 6: Follow step 5 for the other bosses in sequence to push
out the side panel unit.

Caution:
Do not exert too much force as it may damage the side panel
unit.

Step 7: Remove side panel unit as arrow shown.

Follow (Step 1) to (Step 7) in item 1.1.

Step 1: Remove 8 screws.

Step 2: Insert the flathead screwdriver between passive
radiator and speaker cabinet assembly.
Step 3: Gently lift up and remove passive radiator as arrow
shown.

Caution:
Ensure the flathead screwdriver is above the cloth to avoid
damage on speaker cabinet assembly.

Follow (Step 1) to (Step 7) in item 1.1.
Follow (Step 1) to (Step 3) in item 1.2.

Step 1: Remove 4 screws.

Step 2: Detach the white (+) and blue (-) speaker wire.
Step 3: Remove woofer unit (SP1).
