2 Assembling and Disassembling
“ATTENTION SERVICER”
Some chassis components may have sharp edges. Be careful when disassembling and servicing.
1. This section describes procedures for checking the operation of replacing the main components.
2. For reassembly after operation checks or replacement, reverse the respective procedures.
Special reassembly procedures are described only when required.
3. Select items from the following index when checks or replacement are required.
4. Refer to the Parts No. on the page of “Parts Location and Replacement Parts List” (Section 6), if necessary.

The following chart is the procedure for disassembling the casing and inside parts for internal inspection when carrying out the
servicing.

2.2. Disassembly of Front Cabinet
Assembly
Step 1: Upset the unit as shown above.
Step 2: Insert a steel rule into the grooves of the speaker unit.

Step 4: Use the screwdriver to slightly push up the front cabinet

2.3. Disassembly of Woofer (SP1)
Follow (step 1) to (step 5) of item 1.2.
Step 1: Remove all 4 screws from the woofer (SP1).
Step 2: Insert a steel rule between woofer (SP1) and speaker
cabinet to push out the woofer (SP1).

Step 3: Take out the woofer (SP1).
Step 4: Remove the woofer (SP1) by detaching the (+) white
and (-) blue wires.

2.4. Assembly of Subwoofer Unit
Step 1: Scrape off using the scriber and clean up the remaining
glue at the 6 bosses and 6 holes as arrow shown and replace
with the normal glue.

Step 2: Fix the front cabinet assembly firmly back to the
speaker cabinet.
