When the spin dryer cover is raised 40 to 50 mm,
adjust  the door switch so it turns on/off.(fig.36)
1.The brake assembly is fitted to the top of the
spin motor. The brake block is positioned to
make contact with the coupling . The brake is
operated by the brake wire assembly connected 
to the hinge of the spin dryer cover. (fig.37)
2.When the spin dryer cover is raised 15 to 25
degrees, the brake should be operated and the
empty spin dryer basket should be stopped
within 5 seconds.(fig.38)

NOTE
After repairing the door switch system or the brake
system, perform the trial test and check the following
points.
3.Untighten the socket  bolt of the motor pulley
assembly and pull out the motor pulley assembly
from the motor. (fig.35)

To assemble the wash motor, reverse disassembly
procedure.
(1) When opening the spin dryer cover, the door
switch should be turn off before the brake block
makes contact with the coupling.
(2) When closing the spin dryer cover, the door
switch should be turn on after the brake block
separtes from the coupling.

5. ADJUSTMENT
a.When braking is weak, move the brake strap
hook to upper hole of the brake wire plate to
adjust.
b.When braking is too strong, move the brake
strap hook to lower hole of the brake wire plate
to adjuct.
After repairing, perform the trial test and check the
following points.
(1) Measure the insulation resistance; it should be
more than 10 M..
(2) This washing machine must be properly
grounded for safety.
(3) Check to make sure that there is no water
leakage from any of the connections.
(4) When spinning empty, the braking time should
be less than 5 seconds.
(5) Has grease adhered to contacts of electrical
parts?

Models equipped for dual voltage can be adjusted to operate on a power supply of either 110(or 127) or 220 volts.
However, in order to avoid the danger of fire and prevent damage to the washing machine, the voltage setting
must match the voltage of your power supply. The voltage set at the factory is indicated on the "PRESENT
VOLTAGE" column in the spec. label on the back of the washing machine.
To change the voltage setting, follow the procedure that follows:
1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet, by grasping the plug itself.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the back cover from the washing machine(Fig. a).
3. Remove the polyethylene bag covering the lead wire housings(Fig. b).
4. To change the voltage setting from 220V to 110(or 127)V, disconnect the housing marked "220V" and connect
the housing marked "110 (or 127)V", to change the voltage setting from 110(or 127)V to 220V, disconnect the
housing marked “110(or 127)V” and connect the housing marked "220V"(Fig. c).
5. Cover the housings with the polyethylene bag and reattach the back cover.
6. Be sure to indicate the new voltage setting on the "PRESENT VOLTAGE" column in the spec. label for future
reference.
