2. Disconnect the lead wires.
3. Lay the washing machine on its front side on a
blanket or cardboard.
4. Romove the screws fastening the base and
remove the base from the cabinet (Fig. 31).
5. Remove the screws and the washers, remove the
wash motor and remove the wash motor damper
(Fig. 32).
6. Loosen the socket bolt of the motor pulley
assembly and pull up the motor pulley assembly
from the motor.
To assemble the wash motor, reverse disassembly
procedure.
4-5. Wash Motor replacement
After removing the back cover and the spin dryer
basket, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the V-belt from the pulsator pulley (Fig. 30).

4-6. Top Cover Assembly
replacement
1. Remove the screws fastening the top cover and
remove the top cover from the cabinet.

4-7. Washing Tub(cabinet), the
Top cover, replacement
After removing the panel assembly, the safety cover
assembly, the spin dryer basket assembly, the spin dryer
cover, the washing cover, the Q-spring, top cover assembly,
v-belt the door switch and the back cover, proceed as follows:
1. Lay the front side on a blanket or cardborad.
4-8. P. Shaft Assembly
(Gear Case Assembly) 
replacement
After removing the back cover and opening the washing
cover, proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the pulsator fixing screw and pull up the
pulsator(Fig. 36).
2. Disconnect the drain hose or the drain hose-D
(Pump model).
3. Remove the screws washing Tub(cabinet) (Fig. 35).
3. Unscrew and remove the screws fastening the
base and remove the base from the cabinet.
4. Lay the washing machine on its front side on a
blanket or some cardboard and remove the base
(Fig. 38).
To assemble the washing Tup(cabinet), reverse the
disassembly procedure.
NOTE
Apply adhesive on hose joint to prevent
water leaks.

5. Unscrew the pulsator pulley fixing bolt, the nut,
remove the pulsator pulley (Fig. 39).
6. Unscrew and remove the screws fastening the
P.shaft assembly at the cabinet (Fig. 40).
To assemble the P.shaft assembly (Gear case assembly)
to the cabinet, reverse the above disassembly.
After removing the spin dryer basket assembly, refer
to the figures and proceed as follows:
1. Remove the bellows assembly (Fig. 42).
2. Remove the bellows supporter by using slip joint
pliers to the spin tub bottom (Fig. 42).
The assembly procedure is as follows:
1. Insert the bellows assembly into the bellows
supporter (Fig. 43).
2. Fit them by pushing the bellows assembly and the
bellows supporter at the same time in the spin tub
bottom (Fig. 43).
3. Pass the spin shaft through the center hole of the
bellows assembly and insert it into the coupling
assembly (Fig. 43).
NOTE
1. Don't disassemble three screws fixing the
P.shaft assembly.
2. Check the assembled condition of the
packing-P at the cabinet hole is right when
you assembled the P.shaft assembly(Fig. 41).
NOTE
The bellows assembly attached to the unit
cannot be removed unless it is torn off.

4. Tighten the bolt of the coupling assembly while
adjusting it to the cutter split made in the spin shaft
(Fig. 44).
2. Untighten the plunger valve cover by rotating in the
direction of the arrow (Fig. 46).
3. Remove the plunger valve spring, the plunger
valve rod and the plunger valve bellows (Fig. 47).
To assemble the plunger valve assembly, reverse the
disassembly procedure.
NOTE
If water leakage occurs at the spin tub after
assembling the bellows assembly and the
bellows supporter, it is wrong. It could cause
an electrical shock or a fire, therefore they
should be securely assembled again.
NOTE
• Damage to the plunger valve cover may
cause water leakage.
• When replacing the plunger valve assembly,
take care not to cause water leakage.
4-9. Plunger Valve Assembly
replacement
After removing the back cover and setting the knob for the
drain selector to "WASH - RINSE", proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the plunger valve strap from the
plunger valve rod (Fig. 45).
