1. Remove the hinge cover by pulling it upwards. 
2. Loosen 4 hexagonal bolts fixing the upper hinge to the

body and lift the freezer door.

3. Loosen the screws inside the door gasket to remove the

door gasket and the door liner.

1. Loosen 3 hexagonal bolts fixing the lower hinge to the

body  to remove the refrigerator door only.

2. Loosen the screws inside the door gasket to remove the

door liner and door gasket. 

1. To remove the door switch, pull out it with a '—' type

driver as shown in (figure  9).

2. Disconnect the lead wire from the switch.

1. Remove all shelves placed in the Freezer.
2. Pull out the Thermostat Dial. (Figure 10)
3. Loosen 2 screws fixed to bottom of the Thermostat and

separate the Lead Wire.

4. Pull out the Thermostat.

1. After taking out the control box, remove the fan grill by

leaning the hook upwards with a '—' type driver and
pulling it out.

2. Pull out the shroud assembly.
3. Loosen 2 screws holding fan motor bracket to remove

the fan and fan motor assembly.

Def control ASM consists of Defrost Thermostat and FUSE–M.
Defrost Thermostat functions to defrost automatically and it
is attached to the Evaporator and the metal side of the
case senses Temp.
Fuse-M is a kind of safety device for preventing over-
heating of the Heater when defrosting.
At the temperature of 77

°

C, it stops the emission of TEMP

from the Defrost Heater.
1. After removing the Control Box, and Fan Grill loosen 2

screw and pull out the Shroud with it pulling with your
hand. (Figure 13)

2. Separate the 2 connectors connected with the Def

Control ASM and replace the Def Control ASM after
cutting the Tie Wrap and removing the Holder Fuse.
(Figure 14)

3-7-1 Freezer room lamp
1. First, pull out quick freezing room shelf.
2. Insert quick freezing room door upwards, and support

the bottom side of room lamp lid with your hand. Insert
the '—' driver into the slit on the lower side, and remove
room lamp lid by pulling it forwards. 

3. Remove room lamp by turning its bottom part with your

hand counter-clockwise after separating room lamp lid.

3-7-2 Refrigerator room lamp
1. First, pull out chilled room shelf.
2. Insert chilled room door upwards, and support the

bottom side of room lamp lid with your hand. Insert the
'–' driver into the both slits on the upper side one by one,
and remove room lamp lid by pulling it forwards.

3. Remove room lamp by turning its bottom part with your

hand counter-clockwise after separating room lamp lid.

1. First, remove all shelves in the refrigerator and the

control knob by pulling it out.

2. Loosen 2 screws fixing the Damper control ASM to the

Inner Case and pull it out.

3. Seperate the Damper and the Control box.
