1. Loosen 3 hexagonal bolts fixed to the upper hinge and

lift the door to remove the freezer door only. (Figure 6)

2. Loosen screws within the Door Gasket to remove the

Door Liner and the Door Gasket. (Figure 7)

1. Loosen 2 screws holding the Hinge-C assembly to

remove the Chilled Room Door only. (Figure 8)

2. Remove the Door Liner and the Door Gasket by

loosening screws within the Door Gasket.

●  

1. Loosen 3 hexagonal bolts fixed to the Hinge Lower-W to

remove the door only. (Figure 8)

2. Loosen screws within the Door Gasket to remove the

Door Liner and the Door Gasket.

To remove the Door Switch, pull it out by inserting a
(–) driver in the bottom of the switch and separate the Lead
Wire. (Figure 10)

Main function of the Thermostat is to control the
temperature of freezer.
1. Remove all shelves placed in the Freezer.
2. Pull out the Thermostat Dial. (Figure 11)
3. Loosen 2 screws fixed to bottom of the Thermostat and

separate the Lead Wire.

4. Pull out the Thermostat.

1. After taking out the Control Box-F, remove the grill fan

by leaning the hook upwards with a '-' type driver and
pulling it out.

2. Pull out the shroud assembly.

3. Loosen 2 screws holding fan motor bracket to remove

the fan and fan motor assembly.

Def control ASM consists of Defrost Thermostat and FUSE–M.
Defrost Thermostat functions to defrost automatically and it
is attached to the Evaporator and the metal side of the
case senses Temp.
Fuse-M is a kind of safety device for preventing over-
heating of the Heater when defrosting.
At the temperature of 77

°

C, it stops the emission of TEMP

from the Defrost Heater.
1. After removing the Control Box, and Fan Grill loosen 2

screw and pull out the Shroud with it pulling with your
hand. (Figure 13)

2. Separate the Lead Wire connected with the Defrost

Thermostat and replace the Defrost Thermostat after
cutting the Tie Wrap. (Figure 14)

Replace the Fuse-M wraped with Al-foil after separating
the Lead Wire.(Figure 15)

There are two Damper Controls in the Chilled Room and
Refrigerator Room. (Figures 16 and 17)

1. Pull out the Knob Damper and remove the Control Box

after loosening screws fixing each Control Box. 
(Figure 17)

NOTE : When taking out the Damper Control from the

lnner Case, don't apply too much power to the
insulation Damper and the Damper Control.

Replace the Lamp which is behind Control Box-R by
turning it left. (Figure 18)
