Warranty labor rate: MINOR repair
 To:
All JBL Service Centers
 Models:  GTx Series Subwoofers
 Subject:   Dust Cap Replacement
When a GTx Series Subwoofer is reconed and the dust cap replaced, a special primer and
adhesive must be applied to adhere the dust cap to the polypropylene woofer cone.
Conventional adhesives such as #71715 and #51586 alone are not adequate.
Procedure for adhering Dust Cap to Cone:
1)   Place dust cap in position in center of cone.
2)   With a pencil, mark cone around the circumference of the dust cap.
3)   Remove dust cap; apply primer #7086 (C.P. Moyen) to both the surface of the cone and the flange
on the dust cap in the area where they will join.
4)   Allow primer to dry, approximately one minute.
5)   Apply adhesive #RS-3090 (C.P. Moyen) to the dust cap flange only.
6)   Carefully place the dust cap onto the woofer cone, using the penciled guidelines to center the cap.
7)   Press into place and place a small weight on the dust cap to hold in position until the adhesive
dries, approximately 60 minutes.
