Reset and Firmware Upgrade Procedure 
How to Reset/Factory restore? 
Step1: power on the set. 
Step2: press and hold the “VOL-“ and “Surround” key on the 
panel for over 3 seconds. 
Step3:waiting for 2~3 seconds, the DUT will reboot automatic 
and all the setting has being reset. 
Step4: Power off. 
How to upgrade the firmware? 
Step1: copy the firmware file “JBLSBX50.HUI” to the root of 
the USB disc. Please make sure the file system of the 
USB disc is FAT32. 
Step2: power on the set. 
Step3: insert  the USB disc to the set. 
Step4: press and hold the “VOL+“ and “Source” key on the 
panel for over 3 seconds. 
Step5:The white LED on “power” button of the panel will start 
to flash, it indicates the system is in upgrade procedure, 
please don’t remove the power supply. 
Step6:Waiting for the POWER LED turn to constant amber,  it 
indicates the upgrade procedure is success,
 
It takes 
around three minutes to the whole process. 
Step7: Power off.
