The external power supply was not evaluated as 
part of this report.  An external 24V SELV Limited 
Power Source (LPS) approved to IEC 60950-1(2

nd

 

edition) shall be provided. The external power 
supply shall comply with the national regulations of 
the countries in which the appliance is to be sold.

 

1.7.2 Safety instructions, required markings 
regarding use of a specified power supply 

Class III Equipment with an enclosure made of HB-
Material, using a non-special connector for the DC 
input must have a marking stating the 
manufacturer and model number of the power 
supply to be used.  Marking is provided. 

1.7.12; Language of safety markings/instruction 

Instructions and equipment markings are to be 
provided in a language that is acceptable in the 
country in which the equipment is to be sold. 

4.5.1; Thermal requirements 

Equipment under test is class III equipment. 
Several components were monitored while the unit 
was operation normal Max. loading configuration.   

4.5.2, Annex L; Normal load condition per Annex L 

Normal operation is considered 1/8th of maximum 
undistorted power. Non-clipping was determined 
using a 1 KHz sinusoidal signal input. For 
maximum normal operation, 1/8th of the non-
clipping amplitude was used with a filtered pink 
noise input signal. 

5.3.1; Abnormal operation and fault conditions 

Equipment under test is class III equipment. Only 
the fault test in appended table 5.3 was considered 
necessary.  Refer to appended table 5.3
