General product information:
1. The equipment models S024Ezxy are switching power supply (direct-in type) used for DC supply of Audio and
Video equipment.
2. The power supply’s top enclosure is secured to bottom enclosure by ultrasonic welding.
3. All of the mechanical stress tests for plugs were applied, details see clause 15.4 and relevant plug test report.
5. The maximum ambient was 45°C.
6. The models S024EV2400100, S024EV1200200, S024EV0600300 and S024EV0300300 were selected for
testing. Unless otherwise specified, S024EV2400100 was selected for testing.
7. The integrate appliance coupler is replaceable and tested in appliance details see appended report 16007569
001 (Appendix 1).
Difference between models:
1. T1: The adaptors with different output voltage have different secondary winding of transformer, details see
model list.
2. C1, L1, Q1, CX1, R7, R15, R16, R17, R18/R18A, R21, R23, R24, R25, D3, C7, C8, C9, Z1, F1, NTC: The
parameters of these components depend on output power, output voltage and output current.
3. LED output voltage indicating light is optional.
4. In the series, there are two kinds of over-current protective device. Details see below.
A). Output voltage≤6V,
1). Output power<12,5W, fusing resistor will be used as an over-current protective device.
2). 12,5W≤output≤18W, current fuse will be used as an over-current protective device.
B). Output voltage>6V
1). Output power≤18W, fusing resistor will be used as an over-current protective device.
2). 18W<output power≤24W, current fuse will be used as an over-current protective device.
5. NTC is used if current fuse is used as an over-current protective device.
