IMPROVED LATCH-UP IMMUNITY
DESCRIPTION
The 74ACT04 is an advanced high-speed CMOS
HEX INVERTER fabricated with sub-micron
silicon gate and double-layer metal wiring C
2
MOS
technology. 
The internal circuit is composed of 3 stages
including buffer output, which enables high noise
immunity and stable output.
The device is designed to interface directly High
Speed CMOS systems with TTL, NMOS and
CMOS output voltage levels.
All inputs and outputs are equipped with
protection circuits against static discharge, giving
them 2KV ESD immunity and transient excess
voltage.

the SN74LVC04A hex inverter contains six independent inverters designed for 1.65-V to 3.6-V V

The 'LVC04A devices perform the Boolean function Y = A.
Inputs can be driven from either 3.3-V or 5-V devices. This feature allows the use of these devices as translators
in a mixed 3.3-V/5-V system environment.
