Harman International SNC - Harman Consumer International   2, route de Tours  72500 Château du Loir  -FRANCE-
To: all harman/kardon Service Centers
   Models: DVD15 ( DVD from PACK 15 )
Subject: Output of pin 8 of scart connector is at 12 Volts in standby
In the event, you receive a DVD 15 with the complaint: The DVD holds the TV in AV input when the DVD is in standby.
The reason is that the DVD output is at 12Volts in standby on pin 8 (scart connector ) and therefore the TV will not
automatically switch to TV from AV input.  To avoid this do the following modification.
Part needed: 1 transistor 2N4403 part no. HM13-0416
1.  Take out the power supply
2.
Cut the PCB track as showed in picture

4.
