How to rebuild the DVD1 output board to supply 3,5V out on Pin 16 on the TV scart to shift the TV into  
RGB mode.

Components needed: 1 pcs. Transistor BC 639, Resistor 10ohm 0,5W, Resistor 220ohm 0,25W. 

        2 pcs. of wire. 

Proceedure. 

Take out the Output PCB. 
Place the transistor with the flat side down as shown in picture 1. 
Solder the 10 ohm resistor from the emitter to Pin 16 on the tv scart. 
Solder the 220ohm resistor from Pin 16 to ground. 
Now add a wire from collector (the middle leg on the transistor) to Pin 6 on plug CN 802 as shown in 
picture 3. 
In some of the early DVD1’s it might be Pin 5. Turn the print around and look at the inscription, here 
you can see if the + 5V is on Pin 5 or 6 as showed in picture 3. 
Finally add a wire from the base of the transistor to base of transistor Q809 / Q811. 
Mount the PCB again and turn the unit on. Measure the voltage on Pin 16 on the tv scart, it should be 
approximately  3Volts.
