Unit freezes or blocks
In the event you receive an AVR 435 or AVR 635 with the complaint: “The unit freezes or blocks” perform the
following modification.
Establish new ground connection on regulator board.

Establish new ground connection on regulator board.
1. Remove top cover.
2. Locate regulator board on top of the main heat sink.
3. Solder a wire on existing jumper J301 to connect to chassis ground screw as shown on picture below.
4. Loosen ground screw.
5. Place the wire underneath the ground screw and tighten screw.
6. Remove any lacquer from the screw with sand paper or small file to allow for solder to adhere.
7. Join the screw and the wire with solder.
8. Replace top cover and test unit
