UP-X300 Pre-Installation
Guide
The following guide has been created to help towards providing a trouble free
UP-X300 installation.
Please check and tick the boxes below for each UP-X300 installation.
Pre Delivery System Build
Memory
For best performance and features it is recommended to update the RAM to 256MB.
When upgrading obtain a single piece 256MB RAM from Sharp and fit into UP-X300.
Remove existing UP-X300 128MB RAM and replace with 256MB
(The above removed 128MB memory should be added to your next UP-X300)
It is highly recommended that Memory supplied by Sharp be used or tested RAM such as Samsung and
Kingstone Memory.

Application Version/Program Build
Use the recommended latest application install version together with the correct OS. (Please refer to Sharp

Only use new or trusted program as basis for installations, please do not use the Sharp demo data as this
contains many features that would not be used, and this could affect performance.

Configure the UP-X300 to re-boot automatically after the EOD has been carried out.

Install UPS/Mains Conditioner to be connected to the Master Terminal, if there are known mains problems

Wireless Networking UP-X300 with UP-X200
For best performance it is recommended that a known good access point be used.
For example if you have previously installed X300/200 with AP and have had complete success this AP could
