CHANGE OF WORK PROCEDURE FOR THE DRAWER
SOLENOID
1.Model Name:
XE-A202/A212/A301
2.General:
The cable for the solenoid in the drawer (part code: RPLUR2320BH01) is to be
treated using one of the following two methods (Type A and Type B).
When employing the Type B method, the cable may come in contact with the
extrusion spring if there is slack in the cable. The following processes are to be
performed as the countermeasures for this problem.
treated using one of the following two methods (Type A and Type B).
When employing the Type B method, the cable may come in contact with the
extrusion spring if there is slack in the cable. The following processes are to be
performed as the countermeasures for this problem.
Type A: The cable is drawn out from the right side of the solenoid.
Type B: The cable is drawn out from the left side of the solenoid.
1. Additional process of attaching filament tape to the drawer cabinet
Filament tape is to be attached to the square-shaped hole of the drawer cabinet as protection for

top surface, and then attach the remaining portion to the underside surface by turning down
the tape.
2. Treatment of the solenoid cable
Since the solenoid cable is drawn out from the left side of the solenoid, the cable is positioned
close to the extrusion spring. As a result, the solenoid cable may come in contact (get entangled)
with the extrusion spring if there is slack in the solenoid cable.
As a countermeasure, pull the cable tight before securing the solenoid cable to the bottom cabinet
to eliminate any slack in the cable.
