Note:
Before disassembling any of the parts, perform the following steps.
(1) Unplug AC Adaptor from the scanner. 
(2) Pull and remove the Feed Tray while distorting the both sides of the tray (arrow

(1) Push the Door Open Button to open the ADF Door.
(2) Unlock the 2 hooks to release the upper side of the Side 
Cover (R). (arrow

(1) Push the Door Open Button to open the ADF Door.
(2) Unlock the 2 hooks to release the bottom side of the Side 
Cover (L).
Note:
Pay attention to breaking of the hook tip.
(3) Slide upward and remove it in the direction of the arrow

release the 2 upper side hooks.
Note:
Don't remove the cover in the direction of the arrow

Otherwise the hooks are broken.
